CFAD Initiative

Exciting News!

Beyond Purpose Social Ventures & CLASP.ngo are pleased to announce the launch of the Center for Accelerated Development (CFAD) initiative in the North-Eastern region of India. The aim of this initiative is to foster sustainable development in the region by supporting and collaborating with NGOs in the field of clean energy, livelihoods, and health.

Role of NGOs

NGOs play a vital role in driving impactful change in the North-Eastern region. As an NGO, you can apply to be a part of the CFAD initiative and receive support and funding to carry out sustainable development projects.

NGOs must be interested in large-scale public problem-solving and comfortable working with the government system. We would prefer to work with young founders or people in the second line of leadership. The NGO needs to be rooted in the region. At this point, we are looking at working in the field of clean energy, livelihoods, and health and will branch out to other areas with time.

Two people will need to be nominated full-time for this role for a year; they will be onboarded by us as fellows. The NGO will need to have the basics of accounting and basic due-diligence in place, and we will work with you to build capacity and create processes through the program. Established NGOs looking to start new programs may also nominate people to apply for this program.

Grant Amount

Selected NGOs will receive a monthly stipend of Rs.30,000 to Rs.40,000 to support the CFAD initiative and carry out sustainable development projects in the North-Eastern region.
