ACCESS Development Services has opened applications for the second round of the Challenge Fund under the Grant for Agroecology Program (GAP)- Fund. This program is designed to promote innovative and impactful projects that implement sustainable, inclusive, and agroecologically based value chain projects in India.
The goal of this program is to drive social and economic change in India’s farming industry and foster the long-term sustainability of agriculture. The program seeks to promote agroecological practices that can promote the development of an integrated food production ecosystem.
Eligibility
To be eligible for this program, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Must be a registered Producer Organization Enterprise (POE) or registered Private enterprise.
- Must have been in operation for at least 2 years on the date of the application.
- For FPOs it’s MH, MP, CG, UK, Raj, Odisha and NE states. Ticket size INR 20 to 100 L.
- For startups/SMEs it’s open pan India. Ticket size INR 100 to 200 L.
- SMEs have to have a larger impact apart from satisfying agro-ecology principles.
- It would also be great if any of their solutions impact the listed states.
